IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Plugin development ceased, all plugins made available freely (GPL)

With great sadness we have to announce that we are ceasing development of all our VirtueMart, WooCommerce and Joomla plugins. Effective immediately, all our plugins -- even those that were paid downloads -- are made available for free from our homepage (GPL license still applies), but we cannot and will not provide any support anymore.

It has been a great pleasure to be part of the thriving development communities of VirtueMart as well as WooCommerce. However, during the last year it became painstakingly clear that in addition to a full-time job, a young family and several other time-consuming hobbies at professional level (like being a professional singer) the plugin development and the support that it requires is not sustainable and is taking its toll. It has been an honor, but it is now time to say good bye!

Good day

I have somewhat of a problem. We have a client which has 4 products.
These products shipping are calculated by weight in 1kg incidentals. And different to 1 of 3 zones.

Here are two rows from the location database we are working with.
[zip] [Suburb] [Town] [Area Code]
[0111] [POLKOL] [ONDERSTEPOORT] [PRYR]
[9483] [FREDDIES BLOK 2] [MERAFONG] [BFNC]

The zones are determined by the last digit of the last column R = Regional, C = Main.
A sample from the pricelist by Dawnwing: (Local, Main, Regional)
[Ave 2-3kgs] [R 35.47] [R 57.31] [R 109.35]

Now I have manged to format it into a list:
Example:
ZIP==3969;weight<10;Shipping=30

Problem is I will have tens of thousands of rows. The rules did not save when I added about a thousand rows.

How do I do this? I have about 6000 ZIP location, x 15 weight categories(3 location zones x 5 weight options)

Thanks so much, any advice would be welcome! :)

So I followed this advice here:
open-tools.net/forum/shipping-by-rules-p...tal-code-solved.html

Created 3 lists R, C and T

Problem is it will only allow me to save the first two.

Each list has about 1500 codes.
At the 3rd only when I remove more than half of the code it works, so there seems to be some limitation.

How can I overcome this?

If I split into two shipping methods, will that work?

Thank you.

Okay it seems to work. I split it up into three shipping options.

Good stuff.
