IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Plugin development ceased, all plugins made available freely (GPL)

With great sadness we have to announce that we are ceasing development of all our VirtueMart, WooCommerce and Joomla plugins. Effective immediately, all our plugins -- even those that were paid downloads -- are made available for free from our homepage (GPL license still applies), but we cannot and will not provide any support anymore.

It has been a great pleasure to be part of the thriving development communities of VirtueMart as well as WooCommerce. However, during the last year it became painstakingly clear that in addition to a full-time job, a young family and several other time-consuming hobbies at professional level (like being a professional singer) the plugin development and the support that it requires is not sustainable and is taking its toll. It has been an honor, but it is now time to say good bye!

Hi

I am running a site with the AcyMailing component. I know this is an unusual request.

I would like to remove the error notification when a user purchases a product through Virtuemart notifying them that they are already subscribed to a list.

Some of my clients will already be on a List prior to purchasing a product others may be first time buyers.

I just do not what the error popping up

Can I alter the code to no show this error?

Thanking all in advance...

Regards
Paul vd Merwe

Sorry, but I do not really understand which error you are talking about. I couldn't produce any warning when a user is already subscribed to a list and then buys a products that would add him again to that same list.

The only notification I was able to generate is when the user (not logged in) manually enters the email address that is already in the list and then clicks "Subscribe". But in that case, I think the warning makes sense, since the user explicitly asked to be subscribed, even though he is already subscribed.

But maybe I have misunderstood your request, so can you please send a screenshot of the error you are talking about, and describe in a bit more detail how to reproduce the error.

Thanks,
Reinhold
