Hi All,

I would like to be able to set a different order number format for different product types.

For example, product ABC might have an order number format like this 2013-07-22-ABC-456, where 2013-07-22 = the date, ABC = product specific Alpha numeric string, and 456 might be a counter or random number. And product XYZ would have a format like this, 2013-07-22-XYZ-478. I need the ability to include a definable product specific element in the order number.

Can any tell me if this can be done with the Ordernumber Plugin, or any other plugin that you know of?

It's not possible to make the order number depend on the order items. Besides, how would the order number look if both item ABC and XYZ are included in an order?

I don't know of any other plugin that is able to achieve this.
