Add Buyers to Joomla Groups for VirtueMart

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Plugin development ceased, all plugins made available freely (GPL)

With great sadness we have to announce that we are ceasing development of all our VirtueMart, WooCommerce and Joomla plugins. Effective immediately, all our plugins -- even those that were paid downloads -- are made available for free from our homepage (GPL license still applies), but we cannot and will not provide any support anymore.

It has been a great pleasure to be part of the thriving development communities of VirtueMart as well as WooCommerce. However, during the last year it became painstakingly clear that in addition to a full-time job, a young family and several other time-consuming hobbies at professional level (like being a professional singer) the plugin development and the support that it requires is not sustainable and is taking its toll. It has been an honor, but it is now time to say good bye!

Hi,
when i have a confirmed command there is this message :
SQL query FAILED: Message: Table 'DB1232400.oef9i_virtuemart_product_custom_plg_buyer_assign_group' doesn't exist SQL=SELECT * FROM `oef9i_virtuemart_product_custom_plg_buyer_assign_group` WHERE `order_id` = 1298;

Dear Soldom,
That message says that the database table for the plugin was not created. Usually, the table should be created whenever you edit the custom field in the VM backend.

Can you please check in the database whether the table "oef9i_virtuemart_product_custom_plg_buyer_assign_group" exists?
If not, go to Products -> "Custom Fields" in the VM backend, select and open the custom field for the Add buyers to Joomla Groups plugin and save it. This should automatically create the database table.

If now, we'll have to dig deeper.

Which versions of Joomla, VirtueMart and the plugin are you using?

Best regards,
Reinhold

Have you tried changing the custom field definition to force VM to create the table? If that does not work, then there has to be some strange problem with the database access rights.

Best regards,
Reinhold

Hello,
Could you please try the latest version 1.6, which I just released and which I hope should fix your issue, too.
Could you please confirm that it does indeed fix your issue?

Thanks,
Reinhold
