IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Plugin development ceased, all plugins made available freely (GPL)

With great sadness we have to announce that we are ceasing development of all our VirtueMart, WooCommerce and Joomla plugins. Effective immediately, all our plugins -- even those that were paid downloads -- are made available for free from our homepage (GPL license still applies), but we cannot and will not provide any support anymore.

It has been a great pleasure to be part of the thriving development communities of VirtueMart as well as WooCommerce. However, during the last year it became painstakingly clear that in addition to a full-time job, a young family and several other time-consuming hobbies at professional level (like being a professional singer) the plugin development and the support that it requires is not sustainable and is taking its toll. It has been an honor, but it is now time to say good bye!

Hi

Shipping costs in Ireland have dramatically increased recently.
What I would like to do is offer my customers free shipping when i can

The rule I would like is actually to offer customers Free Shipping if they have 3 or more items in their basket
€5 shipping charge if they have only one item in their basket
&
€3 if they have 2 items in their basket

I would like it that these rules are calculated automatically
Please can this be done

Dear Customwear71,
If I understand you correctly, your (rather simple) shipping cost structure is:
  • Orders with 1 article: €5
  • Orders with 2 articles: €3
  • Orders with 3 or more articles: FREE
This can be implemented quite easy, even with the free version of the plugin:
Articles==1; Shipping=5
Articles==2; Shipping=3
Articles>=3; Shipping=0
