IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Plugin development ceased, all plugins made available freely (GPL)

With great sadness we have to announce that we are ceasing development of all our VirtueMart, WooCommerce and Joomla plugins. Effective immediately, all our plugins -- even those that were paid downloads -- are made available for free from our homepage (GPL license still applies), but we cannot and will not provide any support anymore.

It has been a great pleasure to be part of the thriving development communities of VirtueMart as well as WooCommerce. However, during the last year it became painstakingly clear that in addition to a full-time job, a young family and several other time-consuming hobbies at professional level (like being a professional singer) the plugin development and the support that it requires is not sustainable and is taking its toll. It has been an honor, but it is now time to say good bye!

i am using your plugin with VM 2.6.14 and J 2.5.27 together with plugin catproduct and child variants
We were in touch via email before my purchase...

After i set up plugin and make test order i found that no download link is visible in email order review, neither on order detail page
Visible is only on product detail, and special page with all my downloads, but for me it is crucial to have link in the email...
Same behaviour is with classic product without children and catproduct plugin... But in custom field i have cart atributte value choosen.
Do you have any idea? Template or settings issue?

i am using template from Gavick.com gk_bikestore and Joomla 2.5 + Vm 2.6.14
I tested it with joomla default template, on another website too, but no successfull result, so it is not template or server issue.

Would be great if you can give me quick support , otherwise i want my money back and will look for another fully working solution

Sorry for the long delay. Are you sure you configured the custom field to be visible in the invoice?

Child products in general work with my plugin, as I'm using that myself (open-tools.net/virtuemart/advanced-shipp...ipping-by-rules.html ). I've also tried reproducing your issue with a "normal" generic child variant custom field, and the child product properly shows the custom field in the invoice.

Unfortunately, I don't have a recent version of CatProduct to test it. I only have an old version 2.0.8 available, and with that old version the child product's custom fields are indeed not added to the cart / order. So I suspect that this is actually an issue with CatProduct not handling/loading the children's custom fields correctly.

Dear Vlada,
I just found another old version 2.2.8 of catproduct on my harddrive and tested it with child products. If I enable custom fields support in the custom field attached to the product ("Add customfields support. May slow down adding to cart!" set to "Custom fields for each product"), then the download link properly shows up in the order confirmation mail...

As an example, I have set up the "Test child 13" child with a download attached on our demoserver:
demo.open-tools.net/index.php?option=com...ory_id=11&Itemid=104

If you choose "Demo" as the shipping method, you'll get the order confirmation mail with proper download links:
