IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Plugin development ceased, all plugins made available freely (GPL)

With great sadness we have to announce that we are ceasing development of all our VirtueMart, WooCommerce and Joomla plugins. Effective immediately, all our plugins -- even those that were paid downloads -- are made available for free from our homepage (GPL license still applies), but we cannot and will not provide any support anymore.

It has been a great pleasure to be part of the thriving development communities of VirtueMart as well as WooCommerce. However, during the last year it became painstakingly clear that in addition to a full-time job, a young family and several other time-consuming hobbies at professional level (like being a professional singer) the plugin development and the support that it requires is not sustainable and is taking its toll. It has been an honor, but it is now time to say good bye!

Joomla 3.4.1 VirtueMart 3.0.6.4 Advanged rules 5.4

Cart has:
Product1 from Cat1 4 * €20 (total €80)
Product2 from Cat2 2 * €5 (total €10)
Product3 from Cat2 2 * €10 (total €20)

Rule to exlude total amount from Cat2 for shipping above €60:

Variable=AmountExCat2; Value=Amount - evaluate_for_categories(Amount, 2)
Name=Shipping under €60; AmountExCat2<60; Shipping= 7.50
Name=Free shipping above €60; AmountExCat2>=60; Shipping=0

Result of evaluate_for_categories is €15 and not expected €30

Seems that evaluate_for_categories does not sum total amount at cart of products at Cat2 but only sum individual product prices.

What's wrong at above rule?

Regards,
Ronald

Dear Ronald,
Thank you for reporting that issue. You indeed found a bug in the plugin (I apparently missed the quantity in the calculation done for evaluate_for_*). Please update to the latest version 5.4, which should fix this issue.

Best regards,
Reinhold
