IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Plugin development ceased, all plugins made available freely (GPL)

With great sadness we have to announce that we are ceasing development of all our VirtueMart, WooCommerce and Joomla plugins. Effective immediately, all our plugins -- even those that were paid downloads -- are made available for free from our homepage (GPL license still applies), but we cannot and will not provide any support anymore.

It has been a great pleasure to be part of the thriving development communities of VirtueMart as well as WooCommerce. However, during the last year it became painstakingly clear that in addition to a full-time job, a young family and several other time-consuming hobbies at professional level (like being a professional singer) the plugin development and the support that it requires is not sustainable and is taking its toll. It has been an honor, but it is now time to say good bye!

#Number reset 08 Aug 2016 06:17 #1

I set the count as reset by each month.
So, when it is August, 2016, the number CILTDHK-1608007, when it is September, 2016, the number should be CILTDHK-1609001.
But my number didn't reset, it just show CILTDHK-1609007. The # is not changed at all.

Dear Chelsea,
Sorry to hear that the monthly reset is not working for you.
What does the section "Current Counter Values" in your configuration of the module say? In particular, what are the entries for order numbers?

Best regards,
Reinhold

Dear Chelsea,
Thank you for the screenshot of the counters. It really seems that the monthly reset setting is ignored. As a workaround, you can switch to "Separate counter for each Format Value", which has the same effect in your case, because the year and month are the only variables in the number format. That setting means that the counter is reset whenever any of the variables used in the format changes. With your particular number format, this means that when the [year] or [month] variable changes, ie. at the beginning of each month, a new counter will be used that starts at 1...

Best regards,
Reinhold

PS: The list of counter values then will show counter names like CILTDHK-1608# after the first orders are placed.
