With great sadness we have to announce that we are ceasing development of all our VirtueMart, WooCommerce and Joomla plugins. Effective immediately, all our plugins -- even those that were paid downloads -- are made available for free from our homepage (GPL license still applies), but we cannot and will not provide any support anymore.
It has been a great pleasure to be part of the thriving development communities of VirtueMart as well as WooCommerce. However, during the last year it became painstakingly clear that in addition to a full-time job, a young family and several other time-consuming hobbies at professional level (like being a professional singer) the plugin development and the support that it requires is not sustainable and is taking its toll. It has been an honor, but it is now time to say good bye!

I've installed the plugin a few days ago. Since then sometimes (this morning 1 out of 4) the VAT over the shipments aren't calculated. How can I solve this?
Kind regards, Peter Solution: Regarding VAT you have to "tick" boxes twice. Once in the tab "gereral" (you referred to it), secondly in the row (at the end) of the definition of the VAT percentage. And in one case I didnot do that! Thxs, Reinhold ! |

Dear Peter,
Our shipping plugin actually does not have anything to do with tax calculations. All a shipping plugin in WooCommerce does is return an array of "Shipment Name" -> Cost entries. The taxation is handled entirely by WooCommerce and not modified in any way by our plugin. What is the value of "Shipping Tax Class:" in your Tax options page in the WooCommerce admin backend? It might be that this value or the tax rules are incorrectly set up so that those shipments where no tax is added somehow go to a destination with a zero tax rate? Best regards, Reinhold |
