With great sadness we have to announce that we are ceasing development of all our VirtueMart, WooCommerce and Joomla plugins. Effective immediately, all our plugins -- even those that were paid downloads -- are made available for free from our homepage (GPL license still applies), but we cannot and will not provide any support anymore.
It has been a great pleasure to be part of the thriving development communities of VirtueMart as well as WooCommerce. However, during the last year it became painstakingly clear that in addition to a full-time job, a young family and several other time-consuming hobbies at professional level (like being a professional singer) the plugin development and the support that it requires is not sustainable and is taking its toll. It has been an honor, but it is now time to say good bye!

Hi,
Is it possible to generate a invoicenumber with leading zero's. Forexample 2014xxxx1 where the x's are 0 until the counter is above 10, 100 etc. Thanks for the reply. Frank |

I suppose you have found the correct way (which I still explain here, in case other users have the same problem):
The plugin configuration has a setting "Minimum digits for the counter", which does exactly what you want: left-padding the number with zeros to get a certain length. In your case, you want a minimum length of 5. The order format would then simply be "[year]#", where the # is replaced by the plugin by the counter, padded with 0 to length five. Should the number of your counter be 1 million, then the plugin will of course a value "1000000" (i.e. length 6). That setting just sets the MINIMUM length for smaller numbers, but larger numbers will not be cut off at that length. Best regards, Reinhold |
