Changing Counter Values - jQuery is not defined 18 Feb 2015 19:52 #1

With great sadness we have to announce that we are ceasing development of all our VirtueMart, WooCommerce and Joomla plugins. Effective immediately, all our plugins -- even those that were paid downloads -- are made available for free from our homepage (GPL license still applies), but we cannot and will not provide any support anymore.
It has been a great pleasure to be part of the thriving development communities of VirtueMart as well as WooCommerce. However, during the last year it became painstakingly clear that in addition to a full-time job, a young family and several other time-consuming hobbies at professional level (like being a professional singer) the plugin development and the support that it requires is not sustainable and is taking its toll. It has been an honor, but it is now time to say good bye!

I have just purchased, downloaded and installed VM Advanced Order Numbers plugin v2.1
I configured customised Order and Invoice numbers with 'Separate counter per order value' and placed a test order and generated an invoice. The test order number and invoice number were created as expected. But I can not now set the numbers to start where I want. In the backend Plugin Manager in the 'All counter values' section none of the icons (edit/delete/add) respond to their onclick event. I think this may be a jQuery problem as the Chrome browser console reports the following error: Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined ordernumber.js:26 getCounterData ordernumber.js:26 ajaxEditCounter ordernumber.js:40 onclick index.php?option=com_plugins&view=plugin&layout=edit&extension_id=10264:226 I am using VM 3.03 and J! 2.5.27 Please advise. |

Hello, thank you for the report. You indeed ran into a bug that JavaScript declarations were not added to the HTML page on Joomla 2 with VirtueMart 3 (J2 with VM2 and J3 with VM3 worked just fine).
Please upgrade the plugin to the new version 2.2, which contains the fix for VM3 on Joomla 2. Best regards, Reinhold |
