With great sadness we have to announce that we are ceasing development of all our VirtueMart, WooCommerce and Joomla plugins. Effective immediately, all our plugins -- even those that were paid downloads -- are made available for free from our homepage (GPL license still applies), but we cannot and will not provide any support anymore.
It has been a great pleasure to be part of the thriving development communities of VirtueMart as well as WooCommerce. However, during the last year it became painstakingly clear that in addition to a full-time job, a young family and several other time-consuming hobbies at professional level (like being a professional singer) the plugin development and the support that it requires is not sustainable and is taking its toll. It has been an honor, but it is now time to say good bye!

I am using this plugin for a while with no problems, but today I have generated an invoice with an default virtuemart invoicenumber.
How is this possible? Nothing has been changed in the source, as far as I know of. And how can I prevent this to happen again? |

Is the plugin still enabled, and order number customization enabled in the plugin config? Did you upgrade VirtueMart or Joomla?
Which Joomla and VirtueMart version? Did you install any other plugin (e.g. VMinvoice by ARTIO)? Reinhold PS: If that invoice was for a very old order (before you started using the plugin), that would be another explanation, because the invoice number was generated back then. |

The plugin is still enabled. Order number and invoice number customization both enabled as well. I did not upgrade joomla nor virtuemart. I am using joomla 2.5.9 and virtuemart 2.0.20b. The invoice was for a very new order, created yesterday. Invoice created today. I don't understand why the number has been changed, the parameters are still the same. There have to be some change somewhere... |

For your information:
I have juste updated Joomla to 2.5.10 in a local test enviroment, but there the invoicenumber is also set back to default. Customized ordernumber is still correct. |

I don't use any other extension that set the invoice numbers. I also tried resetting the parameters, but that didn't help. Maybe a new installation of the plugin?
