IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Plugin development ceased, all plugins made available freely (GPL)

With great sadness we have to announce that we are ceasing development of all our VirtueMart, WooCommerce and Joomla plugins. Effective immediately, all our plugins -- even those that were paid downloads -- are made available for free from our homepage (GPL license still applies), but we cannot and will not provide any support anymore.

It has been a great pleasure to be part of the thriving development communities of VirtueMart as well as WooCommerce. However, during the last year it became painstakingly clear that in addition to a full-time job, a young family and several other time-consuming hobbies at professional level (like being a professional singer) the plugin development and the support that it requires is not sustainable and is taking its toll. It has been an honor, but it is now time to say good bye!

I know this is not a smart decision to keep a site on Joomla 1.5, but it is a customer's site and they don't have the finances to currently update. I was wondering if you have received confirmation if the Shipping by Rules plugin worked on Joomla 1.5, VM 2.0.18? I know it says it is for J2.5, but I'm hoping it is still compatible :) Any news?

About a year ago, I made the plugin work with Joomla 1.5, but I have not made any efforts since to keep it compatible. You have to try it out yourself with the free plugin. If the free plugin works, I see no reason why the advanced plugin shouldn't.

I was able to install it and set it up just fine, I just wasn't sure if there were any known issues. So far so good. Thanks for the plugin!
