With great sadness we have to announce that we are ceasing development of all our VirtueMart, WooCommerce and Joomla plugins. Effective immediately, all our plugins -- even those that were paid downloads -- are made available for free from our homepage (GPL license still applies), but we cannot and will not provide any support anymore.
It has been a great pleasure to be part of the thriving development communities of VirtueMart as well as WooCommerce. However, during the last year it became painstakingly clear that in addition to a full-time job, a young family and several other time-consuming hobbies at professional level (like being a professional singer) the plugin development and the support that it requires is not sustainable and is taking its toll. It has been an honor, but it is now time to say good bye!

I currently have a free shipping method for selected products for my online store. I am using the following to indicate which SKU's get free shipping.
Name=Free Postage; Condition=issubset(SKUs, list("HD9300/03", "HR1871/10", "HD2698/00"));Shipping=0 This works fine, but I have a large amount of products that belong to one single manufacturer/category (+-3000) that need free shipping. How can I do this? What do I need to do to call a single manufacturer in my statement for free shipping? There must be an easy way to do this? |

There is also the variable Manufacturers, which is a list containing all IDs of the manufacturers of the products in the cart. Maybe you can reformulate your free shipping rule using this Manufacturers list.
Name=Free Postage; Condition=issubset(Manufacturers, list(42)); Shipping=0 Best regards, Reinhold |
