TOPIC:
exclude that manufacturer from one shipping option 25 Sep 2014 16:02 #1

With great sadness we have to announce that we are ceasing development of all our VirtueMart, WooCommerce and Joomla plugins. Effective immediately, all our plugins -- even those that were paid downloads -- are made available for free from our homepage (GPL license still applies), but we cannot and will not provide any support anymore.
It has been a great pleasure to be part of the thriving development communities of VirtueMart as well as WooCommerce. However, during the last year it became painstakingly clear that in addition to a full-time job, a young family and several other time-consuming hobbies at professional level (like being a professional singer) the plugin development and the support that it requires is not sustainable and is taking its toll. It has been an honor, but it is now time to say good bye!

HI,
We have two shipping options, one for Couriers and the other for Postage. Now we have a situation where we do not want to offer the post office option for a certain manufacturer. Is there any way that we can exclude that manufacturer id from the Post office list? For example: Name=Not allowed; Condition=issubset(Manufacturers, list(7,17)); Shipping= Not allowed Thanks for your help. |

Your condition "issubset(Manufacturers,list(7,17))" means that BOTH manufacturers 7 and 17 need to be in the order. It's usually easier to use the contains_any function instead:
Comment=Not allowed; Condition=contains_any(Manufacturers, 7, 17); NoShipping Please note that with NoShipping, the Name will be shown to the user as an error message, while "Comment=" is just a comment for you and will not be shown. Best regards, Reinhold |
