With great sadness we have to announce that we are ceasing development of all our VirtueMart, WooCommerce and Joomla plugins. Effective immediately, all our plugins -- even those that were paid downloads -- are made available for free from our homepage (GPL license still applies), but we cannot and will not provide any support anymore.
It has been a great pleasure to be part of the thriving development communities of VirtueMart as well as WooCommerce. However, during the last year it became painstakingly clear that in addition to a full-time job, a young family and several other time-consuming hobbies at professional level (like being a professional singer) the plugin development and the support that it requires is not sustainable and is taking its toll. It has been an honor, but it is now time to say good bye!

i receive error when i try to use Categories==list(1234) , why is there a bug?

What is the error message?
Does your shipping method really use the advanced shipping by rules plugin and not the basic (free) shipping by rules plugin? You can simply check and change this in the "Shipment Method Information" tab of the shipping method configuration. Make sure the "Shipment Method" is set to "Advanced Shipping by Rules for VirtueMart" and not "Shipping by Rules for VirtueMart". Best regards, Reinhold |

i am not opening new theme , but we stel have the same problem i use the Advanced Shipping by Rules for VirtueMart and it does not recognise categories, please advise me what to do,

Dear kikkodm,
Please send me the exact error message that you are getting. This should give a good indication what is wrong. Without the actual error messge, it's impossible to tell what is causing your issue. Also, which version of (1) the shipping by rules plugin, (2) VirtueMart, (3) Joomla and (4) PHP are you using on your installation. Is the error message a PHP error (i.e. a blank screen with a PHP backtrace), or normal Joomla warning/error (in a red box, but otherwise the page renders properly). In your shipping method's configuration, Tab "Shipment Method Information" (the first tab, not the tab where you enter the rules), which value have you selected for "Shipping Method"?
