IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Plugin development ceased, all plugins made available freely (GPL)

With great sadness we have to announce that we are ceasing development of all our VirtueMart, WooCommerce and Joomla plugins. Effective immediately, all our plugins -- even those that were paid downloads -- are made available for free from our homepage (GPL license still applies), but we cannot and will not provide any support anymore.

It has been a great pleasure to be part of the thriving development communities of VirtueMart as well as WooCommerce. However, during the last year it became painstakingly clear that in addition to a full-time job, a young family and several other time-consuming hobbies at professional level (like being a professional singer) the plugin development and the support that it requires is not sustainable and is taking its toll. It has been an honor, but it is now time to say good bye!

Hello there,

I am looking for a plugin with which i could do this:
From zip: ... to zip: ....
if order < 50 euros then if total_volume_order < total_weight, cost is 5euros per kilo but if total_volume_order > total_weight then cost will be 6 euros per kilo and if order > 50 euros then shipment is free of charge

Can i do something like this with Advanced Shipping by Rules Plugin for VirtueMart?

Hello,
With our plugin, you can have different costs/kg depending on other conditions. If I understand your shipping cost structure correctly, the following rule set should work with the advanced version of hte plugin:
Amount>=50; Shipping=0
Volume>=Weight; 1000<=ZIP<2000; Shipping=6*ceil(Weight)
Volume<Weight; 1000<=ZIP<2000; Shipping=5*ceil(Weight)
Here, I'm assuming the zip range from 1000 to 1999 (i.e. 2000 NOT included). I'm also including that when you say "per kg", you mean that partial kg still count as one kg, e.g. if the order weight is 1.2kg, this counts as 2kg. (If you really mean 6€ per kg using the exact weight, i.e. 1.2kg cost 7.2€, then you simply need to remove the ceil function and replace it by the Weight variable).
