IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Plugin development ceased, all plugins made available freely (GPL)

With great sadness we have to announce that we are ceasing development of all our VirtueMart, WooCommerce and Joomla plugins. Effective immediately, all our plugins -- even those that were paid downloads -- are made available for free from our homepage (GPL license still applies), but we cannot and will not provide any support anymore.

It has been a great pleasure to be part of the thriving development communities of VirtueMart as well as WooCommerce. However, during the last year it became painstakingly clear that in addition to a full-time job, a young family and several other time-consuming hobbies at professional level (like being a professional singer) the plugin development and the support that it requires is not sustainable and is taking its toll. It has been an honor, but it is now time to say good bye!

Hi there.

I have a joomla 3 and virtuemart 3.0.10 eshop and i also have installed your plugin and one page checkout plugin but your plugin does not refresh automatically if i choose from the drop down country menu different countries. I have to go through the whole process ( enter from the beggining all the required fields) in order to be correct. O therwise the options stay the same.
Also it does not display one option in a selected country.

Dear Agerolimatos,
Sorry to hear that you are running into issues with the shipping costs not refreshing when you switch countries. Do you use the default VirtueMart checkout process (One-page checkout enabled or mult-page?) or do you have a third-party CHeckout plugin installed (Rupostel One-Page Checkout, VP OPC, CMSmart OPC, etc.)?

I`ve got an answer from Pavel ( joomla.bypv.org/ )

This fixes "my" problem with open-tools:
Please try to modify the script "/plugins/system/opc_for_vm_bypv/controllers/cart_bypv.php" on the line 1472:
$this->display(); // Old code
change into:
$this->redirectToRefreshCartJS_byPV(); // New code

Dear Thomas,
Thanks for bringing this issue to the developer of your OPC solution. Judging from Pavel's fix, there is really nothing that can be done in our plugin, as the OPC plugin simply never updates the shipping costs.

It would help to know:
- whether you are using a third-party One-Page checkout plugin or the default VM checkout
- which version of our plugin you have installed.
- Whether your webserver logs shows any errors.
